"I want to be able to move up in the company."
"Great company Great coworkers"
"Great company! Enjoyed my contract work for Mass Mutual."
"I worked for Mass Mutual for a short period of time before we went into quarantine. I worked out of Lake Oswego and enjoyed the company culture and events that were held. Developed as a professional and appreciate the mentors and management."
"I have worked at MassMutual for 6 months and found that you cannot find people who have tenure beyond 1-2 years. There have been several reorganizations since I started resulting in new managers. With that being said, I enjoy the people that I work with and the work is interesting. I am learning a lot."
"I made a decision to leave the mortgage business to get back into financial planning. I went with a specific manager in the Annapolis office. I had to have knee surgery 6 months into the position. While I was out they fired the manager, closed the office, fired his supervisor in the Virginia office and brought in someone from San Francisco. I would prefer to explain the rest of the story during an interview."
"I've worked for MassMutual and it's a good company."
"Home office is great. They provide tons of assistance to new agency tech specialists, more than I’ve had at any other job. The agency itself doesn’t have much room for career growth and technology is not a priority. Salary is stagnant and not competitive."
"I have been working for MassMutual for about 2.5 years. I believe in the goals of the company and genuinely feel that the services they provide are essential for all people. Being able to help provide others with plans for the certainties and uncertainties of life is what gives me the most satisfaction."
"I've been with them over three years and no one I started with is still there. The agency can't keep employees, sales staff or office staff. Each day you come in or call the office it's a different person. Cubicles are filled and emptied all the time. The office is more like the downtown bus station with people coming and going. Management isn't much to speak of. They mostly act busy without accomplishing much, except getting excited if someone makes a big sale, and sales haven't been good for the office in the last year. Our goals haven't been met by more that a third. It's tough out in the sales field and tougher with little support for the office."
