"It's a laid back culture, as is usual in academia no one cares when you work so long as the work gets done, which is very nice because it gives me a flexible schedule."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Mainly, just be friendly but also be sure to have sharp programming skills, especially in MATLAB, you will need to learn a lot the first few days so be sure you are willing to study for a little while."

"Often times I have to come up with something to do myself, since I am not trained in atmospheric sciences directly, it is a lot of work to figure out what to do sometimes. If I need to meet with those whom I work with, it is a scheduling nightmare."

"Simply to be more quick in addressing problems, I sometimes feel stuck until I meet with someone and it can take them days just to answer a When can we meet email."
