Masimo Employee

"Company tries to do great things, but it is too bureaucratic, with too many ego's in middle management to get anything of substance done. Also, forget personal/professional growth, they dont care."

What do you like about working at Masimo?

"Great product. Great founder/CEO."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared for 50/hr work weeks and no professional growth opportunities, but you will be paid well."

What don't you like about working at Masimo?

"Too bureaucratic. Too many hands in EVERY cookie-jar. Too much ego."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Return to your roots. This company used to have a great startup culture and a genuine caring for it's employees. Now a public company, the year over year earnings are more important than the original mission: improving patient care. Listen to your engineers! Listen to your little people. They are trying to talk to you!"

Associate General Counsel

"Nice people but fear-based managment with hellish office politics make it a nightmarish place to work."

Hospital Sales Representative

"If they had an outside sales position opening I would have remained there. I did not care for telemarket sales."

What do you like about working at Masimo?

"Cutting-edge technology pulse oximeters and Co-Oximeters to sell. Great group of colleagues to work with."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Learn as much as you can about the role oximetry monitoring plays in patient's health status."

What don't you like about working at Masimo?

"I preferred to be an outside sales representative. I became bored with Inside Sales after 18 months and resigned this position"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep doing what you are doing. You've created a warm and friendly environment to work in."

Masimo Employee

"Good company to be at if you just want to cruise, but bad if you're looking to develop more skills."

What do you like about working at Masimo?

"Personal, small company feel. Got to see different aspects of how the company works. Relaxed atmosphere."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't know if the company culture has changed since I left a few years ago, but they like to have the entire team you're joining interview you (5-6 people, one at a time for 30 mins apiece = Long interview day). You pretty much have to show that you get along with everyone that interviews you."

What don't you like about working at Masimo?

"The product line is straight forward. They know what they do best and keep doing it. However for individuals in R&D, when you're working on a project you feel as if the company has already done it before, but with only a slight improvement. You become an expert in a very narrow area in a couple of years."
