"I am an Independent consultant. I like being my own boss, having flexible hours, and the company philosophies of God first, family second, and career third."

"You are an independent. If you have a job, DO NOT QUIT your job until and unless you are very successful in MK."
What don't you like about working at Mary Kay?
"I do not make enough money. I know lots of people who make lots of MONEY but for me, I need to make more money. I am at a crossroad and considering polishing my resume and restarting my career in Corporate America. As an independent, I have no medical benefits and my salary is all based on my personal sales and my commission check from the company - which is not enough for me right now."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen and relate more to the independent contractors. Allow independent contractors to have more freedon to build and manage their business without so many rules. I think rules are great but there are individual exceptions that should be considered."
