"I saw another review on this same site careerbliss.com, someone said that Martin technologies average employee pay rate is $49 per hour at $102,000 per year that is the biggest lie of any lie I've ever heard in my entire life. You may make that much if you're a pencil pusher and you sit behind a desk but if you're the one that actually does the physical labor. In Lawrenceburg we made $12 per hour. And the equipment that we had to work with was something that looked like it came from a scrap yard or a thrift store.Things were always breaking, corporate said to make do with what you got. It was constantly something was broken down or torn up or just needed repair or cleaned and every time we started a new contract we'd be told this is going to last 3 to 5 years and 6 months into the contract we're all getting laid off. Martin Technology talks a big game to get people in. They don't even offer bereavement pay, I had to work with my mother dying then when she died I had to take off with no pay. How disrespectful can accompany be to their employees. They talk big game,we got big plans for this and this is going to take us here. I've not seen anything extravagant happen yet other than Lawrenceburg made the news because of the mass layoff that we had right after we started a new diesel project other than that, the office personnel at our facility the operations manager the Admin/HR Assistant and the Quality lady they were good people and it was never a surprise to see the admin or the operations manager or the quality control engineer out there in their dress clothes mopping up coolant from an exploded coolant tank on a Dyno cart or out there cleaning the toilet in the bathroom because it stopped up. They even tested engines and put engines together with us. Teamwork was our motto, but we all wished we had more money to go with the teamwork."
