"I've worked for Marquee Las Vegas for 4+ years. There is a constant fluctuation in management, they are either moved around the company, let go, or resign. Very confusing, for their policies are allowed to change with each new manager despite the HR employee handbook rules. Speaking of HR, they are run by the upper management and are not there for the employees. Multiple times management is aware on who or what is said to HR by the employee. As a result, HR policies often change to suit the managers needs and desire to be constantly right. With this, there are several times where management says one thing and completely does another. This company is very "emotional" and runs on the mood of the management other than work ethics. Often, employees are spited for opinion or suggestions ( even when asked for ) and even for the desire to resign. Currently (2/15) it has been publicly admitted by the GM that a few are being "pushed out" to create room for a new staff. And those that desire to resign due to the unethical work conditions are spited and not spoken to by management. With their decline in business there has become a decline in the quality of lower management. There is obvious discrimination and favoritism that occurs and it is clear that staff is not respected or trusted unless you somehow become a favorite. In a nutshell, the money (or lack there of) comes with no job security and seniority whatsoever. Be prepared to be let go for something you didn't do or be baby sat every day you come into work."
