Submit a Review"Marketing interns often do not receive the high levels of respect that they may deserve. For example, throughout my experience as a marketing intern I was not treated with respect and instead was presented with enormous amounts of tedious and time consuming work for zero compensation. Despite this, I still worked hard in order to gain more experience and work my way towards product management which, ended up benefiting me in the long run."
"I have learned so much about how the corporate world works through my internship. They really explain there reasoning behind why they make decisions, give me the chance to give my input and we come up with final decisions together. I do however wish that for the quality of work that I do they could pay me more."

What do you like about working at Building Safety Solutions?
"I saw BSS as my first look at the business world. I was excited and everyone was friendly. I was promised I'd get a lot of training."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Inflate the CEO's ego and stroke it and smile and nod a lot."
What don't you like about working at Building Safety Solutions?
"I was supposed to be brought on as an intern and had no benefits, but was told that after a certain amount of time, I'd get them. I never did and ended up having to deal with lots of arbitrary rules and meaningless tasks. I was cramped into a small office, didn't get any training, and mainly compiled lists of leads from things like Linkedin and etc."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Better training and keeping up with promises. Also, the environment is friendly, but a couple people are toxic."

"I love the teamwork that goes on at Cascades. My co-workers are great, and I stay busy."

"Have a fun personality. You will fit in great if you have a sense of humor and don't take everything too seriously."

"I like most things about working at Cascades, but there currently are no openings so I have to look elsewhere."

"Constructive criticism is essential for growth and efficiency. Any feedback is appreciated."

"I enjoy the organization of my work, and the set tasks I have. I like the focus of the company culture."

"I have so far worked mostly sales, and it is work that I know I am not interested after graduation from college in May 2013."

"I am only an intern of a massive organization, but everything all that I have perceived from the CEO seems to be the very best example, direction, and vision for the company."

"The people are very friendly and the environment fits the definition of a fashion industry company."

"Keep it real and concentrate on the job description the company had."

"As a data analyst, space to develop is very limited. They do not utilize the big data a lot."

"We can get more employees to work at the data marketing department."

What do you like about working at Portage Community Center?
"I actually haven't worked there since April. But, the people are great. The community center provides emergency assistance, youth development and support services to those in the Portage area in need.There is a gratifying feeling knowing that you are helping better someone's life."

"It is very relaxed and a very positive environment. I have already recommended that others join the PCC team!"
What don't you like about working at Portage Community Center?
"Sometimes it's sad realizing what some people actually go through, but all in all I enjoyed the environment of the Community Center."

"I really like it when we decide together how the events are going to pan out."

"Red Bull is a great company to work for if you love a fast paced action packed learning environment. Work hard, play hard!"

"College degree required! Industry experience and history is very important also."

"Work freedom varies greatly depending on your specific position and all associated management."

"Treat the employees better and allow for more work/personal life separation. Still a great company and experience overall!"

"The Dallas office is much more laid-back then the CA office."

"I don't like sitting at a desk all day talking on the phone. I felt like it was a waste of time and not much got accomplished. I detest wasting time."

"Learn to be more efficient and effective. A lot of time is wasted at this company and there is a high turn-over rate. Improvements can be made."

"Be very organized. Know how to work on all computer programs. Have good time management skills."

"The scope of the projects that I worked on. I was given a lot of differing assignments so that I could see different sides of the business and the different ways to go about each."

"Be honest. It is a very open environment, and everyone's opinion is respected."
What don't you like about working at McGraw-Hill?
"Being on both the purchasing and distributing end of the text book industry put a sour taste in my mouth. I liked the people there, but I didn't like the way there product was set up. It shouldn't cost a kid 100 dollars for a geography book."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest to have some more standards in the internship programs. I was forced many times to choose between which managers' projects I would complete first. I felt like I was caught in the middle of two sides."

"it is better for you to have a experience working in a well organized organization. otherwize, you will get lost."

"The company is very disorganized, inefficiency. there is little collaboration between departments."
