"Marcums Welding and Steel Processing is a great place to work for a beginner welder looking for a trial by fire learning experience. It is an amazing structural department they can fabricate anything! They have built bridge decks. You send them your blue prints and the guys in the shop will get it built period. Always an A plus job. There is a little of a disconnect between the office and the actual back of the shop. Maybe they should install better cameras so as to keep down on the horseplay. It would also help to stop a lot of coat tailing that goes along with so much freedom from supervision. But overall they're amazing fabricators and they have an amazing group in the office that work hard to rollout a decent and affordable brand for the larger engineering companies. This way our small shop of 12 fabricators and only 4 certified flux core structural welders can do the work of the much larger companies such as union structural fabricators. And we often did it quicker as well."
