"I started working with Marcor Technologies in mid-October after completing a contract job that same month. Initially I had applied for the IT Support Technician II position expecting approximately $50k/yr between pay and benefits for the description of the work. What I was offered was $20.00/hr, no health insurance available, no retirement savings account available, no dental available, no vision available, a 5 year old laptop that hadn't even been cleaned off and an office that looked like someone was currently performing construction on (no carpet on floor, exposed insulation which I suspect was asbestos-base based on age, cords running across the room between server and various equipment posing tripping hazard. Owner expected me to resolve without even providing me the tools I requested until about a week before they terminated me (one of the reasons being I took too long to resolve issues)."
