"Go for a management position, try to get as much as you can upfront. Be aware that it is a big international company and you will have to be very flexible working within many different people and culture types."

"Too many different systems that didn't interact well with each other. Volvo took advantage of the North American work ethic and didn't seem too concern above scarificing peoples jobs when times got tight."

"Standardize upon a good working system and make it the only one to use domestically and globally. Stop middle manager from creating fiefdom through the invention of system they only use and understand. Create more commonality in how you work and analyze results."

"Depending on your area, in my case leasing, there was little to no upper management support."

"Have the Volvo CEO based in Greensboro come from the US...not Sweden or another country."
