"Have worked at MZ since 2017 -- I really enjoy the culture"
"I suggest researching PlayStudios. I worked there for over 5 years and are one of the leading developers in Mobile Casino Gaming. They're also the only company affiliated with MGM's MLife rewards platform, setting themselves apart from their competition. I started as a QA tester, moved up to QA Management, and for the last 2 years, worked as their Project Manager. I've worked on new features for their mobile client as well as designed and configured daily In-Game Events and Sales Packs. The PlayStudios rewards platform gave me the chance to work with dozens of vendors and outside partners to strategize on driving revenue. In addition to hiring and leading the QA team, I was also on point for pulling KPIs of past events and setting up AB tests to increase ARPDAU and player retention. My experience using GitLab and Jenkins also aided in bug-free timely releases, working closely with our Release Manager."
"I've worked for Machine Zone for 5 months. I left the company to live with my husband in Boston. For the short time that I was there, it was a great company to work for with a lot of interesting data!"
"This company has a top rated mobile game for iOS and Android. The game generates quite a bit of revenue and a large number of players have become quite devoted to it.One of their most intriguing features is real-time chat translation to and from numerous languages. So players around the world can converse transparently. They're located in Palo Alto. The game itself is in PHP; they make extensive use of MySQL and Redis. Other parts of their infrastructure entail Erlang."
"Fast-paced and current, the motivation behind development is a drive toward excellence: when a better technology/technique comes along, that in itself is the dynamic behind changes in the code base to keep it up to date. The management style is eclectic and the atmosphere is one of a start-up. A good place for the upwardly mobile, there's always a sizzle that's palpable in the environment."
