"Immediate colleaguesOffices in nice citiesWork flexibility"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask about turnover.Ask about tenure of individual leaders.Get a clear job description and some commitment that it's how you'll be measured and compensated (not that they cannot find a way around this).Try to get a severance package commitment upfront in case you're let go."

What don't you like about working at LRN?

"All the bureaucry of a megacompany in a firm of only 300 people. No real customer focus--the emphasis is on coddling the CEO.Incredible HR leadership turnover is the real giveaway...The chief ethics officer is anything but.The messianic, cultlike expectation of devotion to principles that are not practiced. The hilarity of the 18-attribute (or is it 23)leadership framework that leadership touts to justify its situational ethics."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Separate the Board chair and CEO roles like any truly ethical company does.Buy out the CEO and get some real business people to manage the place.Prove a commitment to employee relations by keeping an HR VP longer than 2 years.Put in place something more than a 'paper' ethics program-finally."
