However, don't expect to get into senior management without either being French or having spent time in the France corporate office. Some departments are also very under-appreciated, and HR is not the best"

"L'Oreal states that they care about Work-Life balance. This is only true if you are satisfied with no bonus (which makes up a sizable % of your salary). Since salaries are under market rate, this should be a concern. You are expected to work a minimum of 10-12 hr days plus weekends. Also note that unless you are versed in politics, your career will stagnate. They will work you hard until you burn out. Run! don't walk, to any other company, IT management has changed for the worst."

"Focus more on employee development, and be more open minded to push for innovation. Too much time is wasted on unnecessary work that prevents us from doing actual productive and innovative work."
