"I worked at L'Oreal for two semesters worth of a Co-op and it was an awesome experience. You may be just a small cog in a massive machine, but you're treated with respect and valued, put to work on real projects. I think it's a great place to work despite suffering from many of the same faults as other massive corporations"

"Company is great for those who can manage across an incredibly convoluted organizational structure. Managers have favorites."

"When I first started, L'Oreal USA was very siloed and you could tell there was nepotism. Now, it's less siloed and management is aware of the nepotism and is trying to improve. However, don't expect to get into senior management without either being French or having spent time in the France corporate office. Some departments are also very under-appreciated, and HR is not the best"

"I've worked for L'Oréal since October 2018, is a company that has a strong safety and quality culture, always seen their own people and their customer's satisfaction having a large variety of products for beauty and health."

"L'Oreal states that they care about Work-Life balance. This is only true if you are satisfied with no bonus (which makes up a sizable % of your salary). Since salaries are under market rate, this should be a concern. You are expected to work a minimum of 10-12 hr days plus weekends. Also note that unless you are versed in politics, your career will stagnate. They will work you hard until you burn out. Run! don't walk, to any other company, IT management has changed for the worst."

"I only worked for L'Oreal in shipping for 5 months through CM Temporary Services. I worked faithfully for the company believing I would have a secure position in the department as I was trained in several capacities. Was very surprised and disappointed when released recently."

"Considering they let me go within 2 days, I cannot say that I like them that much. It was an easy job, and I would have loved to stay, but it kind of ruined my situation because I had to quit walmart to go to them and I was fairly comfortable at walmart, I just want to be able to put money back as well each paycheck. But all in all, It wasn't that bad of a job. The people were nice."
