"There is a lot of variety, constant challenges, and good people."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"We are not a typical consulting company. We are business that provides services to customers, and on the service it seems similar to contracting, it isn't. It is stable, low risk and suits conservative people, but there are limits to the rewards because of those low risks."
What don't you like about working at Long View Systems?
"We are missing some pieces to develop internal staff, and as a result there is a fairly large skill gap on the path from intermediate to senior, and no clear way to resolve it."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Implement IT systems to support the business - we focus on the customers, and want to stay small and agile but we have grown too complex for that and need tools and process to support our current size and enable growth."
