"I've been with LMI for about 3.5 years. It has been a really great company to get my career off to a start, as I was immediately immersed in my role from day one despite being fairly junior in comparison with the rest of my team. However, as I grew within the company, the company did not seem to appreciate the continuous growth and my subject matter expertise in an area that is vital to the success of a large focal piece of the organization. LMI is a tremendous workplace if you're looking for a great office with a more than generous work-life balance, but there isn't much emphasis on upward mobility and personnel development."

"Be prepared to work long hours and ensure you can drink the company koolaid."

What don't you like about working at LogMeIn?

"Poor and below industry compensation. Long hours - that company demands a lot when paying you little. Promotions, if they do happen, are not given out based on merit. They're only given to people in the in-crowd. If you're not best friends with your manager, you can forget about moving up. Management turnover was frequent, making it hard to complete certain tasks."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to employees and reward them. Don't expect to just send them on cool trips and feed them free snacks and have them look the other way."
