"It’s got a pretty complex application with third party integrations so you can get decent experience with software engineering even in QA. There is a lot of technology to learn, and probably doesn’t require much to dive in. The main problem is the engineering team is a bit hypocritical, to the point that you may wish you never studied technology or majored in computer science. They may glorify self taught and jobs outside of technology for some crazy reason. They may move people up slowly, if that’s important to you."
