What do you like about working at Hewlett-Packard?

"The people who own and run the company are the best. I love the fact that it is around the corner from my house, the hours are flexible and the fact that I get to help people save money on their mortgage. We specialize in Government insured loans VA, FHA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac so the whole goal there is to help people not get over on them. This makes working there pleasant especially during these times where people are in severe crisis."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are a loan officer or a mortgage broker from the past, this job is not for you. Things are different now. There's no need to show off on how many bad loans you put through. You need to be honest, sincere and real and willing to conform and have patience with this new wave of borrowers."

"Closed when I finally made a decent commission."

"Too young and inexperienced. No class or professionalism at all."
