LMC Construction Anonymous Employee
in Tualatin, OR

"I've been in the construction industry for over 25 years now. I began my career working with a custom home builder in Seattle as a framer then a finish carpenter. In 2001 I joined the Carpenters Union as a journeyman carpenter and started my commercial/residential career with Walsh construction in Seattle. I started with Walsh as a Framer, moved into concrete work, then a finish foreman carpenter. Through the years took classes CEM classes with the AGC as well as Superintendent training classes within the Carpenters Union. After becoming a general foreman with Walsh, I finished there in Quality Assurance/Control. I moved into a Superintendent roll with Pence Construction in Portland OR. With Pence I was the general Superintendent on a $10 million ground up retail space and parking lot renovation; a Superintendent ll on a $40 ground up mixed use retail/apartment buildings with underground parking. My last project with Pence was as a Superintendent ll on a $48 million historical hotel renovation. I moved from Pence to LMC Construction of Tualatin OR. As the general Superintendent with them I just completed a $10 million exterior complete re-sking and partial interior occupied renovation. I love my position and job as a Superintendent and would like to continue to grow with a company that I can call home and finish my career with."
