"Never been caught up in a lay-off, didn't like knowing that my job was going away, due to Littelfuse relocating to Wuxi, China, and that I had no control over this decision."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think it is a mistake moving this company to Wuxi, China. Don't think they will be able to achieve the same outstanding quality we were able to achieve here in the US."

"Long interviews with several individuals including a Phyc test for manageiral and up postions"

"Better understading of staff function and value before cutting jobs that delay the launch of new products"

"Be sure you have a strong background in lean manufacturing and a desire to travel to Asia."

"That ALL manufacturing in the US was shut down and moved it to Asia."

"They need to continue the lean training and culture change."

"I work for littelfuse almost 10 years since 2010, I started as a control technician 1 year, then I was promoted to jr. control engineer, and stay in that position for 5 years, through this years I become an interim control engineer in charge of different production areas control equipments, then I was promoted to project engineer for 3 and a half years working in the development of new products, transfering equipment from chicago to mexico to build a new production line for new fuses for hybrid and electric vehicles"
