"A company with amazing intention but lack drive to achieve true success at the plant level."
"If you're content in never moving up or obtaining a higher position, then this job is for you."
"Working at LCI has been a great experience, the people are what makes the organization a great place to work."
"Lippert used to be a fun place to work, but I've watched it slowly go down the drain. They think throwing money at this new ridiculous everyone matters program will fix it all. They have fired countless great managers to make room for younger kids who won't require as much money. I guess everyone matters means throw out the knowledgable older personnel, and replace with kids. That's who matters because it's certainly NOT those who have been here longer. I am speechless with what I am seeing this company do to their loyal management personnel!"
"Growing too fast. Poor attention to detail and quality. Big egos. Close to a monopoly in some of its product lines."
"Lippert is a growth machine. It is run by a very strong personality that has limited listening skills. Quality is a key hindrance to improving the well being of the RV industry. this is because of the huge market share it commands in so many RV components. RV OEMs complain but still put up with Lippert's problems because of prices and price bundling practices. I hope they improve their attention to quality before the Chinese or Koreans enter the market!"
"I worked for LCI plant 19 as a welder for about 4 months. Pay started at $9/hr for new employees for the training line, and pay was supposed to increase to $11/hr when you got onto a production line. Training line only took 2 weeks, and it was only a week ago that they said they would give me $11/hr. The work environment is horrible. since late October the average temp. inside is 15 degrees or lower, and the place is disgusting. And there is a bad racial problem in management and employees."
