What do you like about working at Lifetime Entertainment Services?

"I learned a lot and had the opportunity to develop a wide array of original programming."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't insult the viewers. Bring accessible content ideas that you can stand behind, as opposed to whatever you think will be popular with the gun-rack crowd."

What don't you like about working at Lifetime Entertainment Services?

"Management drama and ever-shifting organization priorities were a frequent drag on morale, especially in the Online Department"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Focus on your strengths: your on-air programming and your strong place in casual games. Also, don't talk down to your audience...often it seems that the informational content on the site is VERY patronizing, and it's not surprising that it's not consumed more heavily."

Director

"Used to be a great place to work, but has become much more corporate in recent years."

What do you like about working at Lifetime Entertainment Services?

"For years, there were great people working there -- very smart and very respectful. A good team atmosphere. Upper management prided themselves on rewarding excellent employees with promotions. Also, the company is very pro-advocacy and giving back which is a nice thing."

What don't you like about working at Lifetime Entertainment Services?

"In the last year, the old upper management was replaced by those with a different management style. What used to be a respectful and productive team environment became more of a day to day audition to keep your job. The floors were lined with egg shells."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Do a better job of mining the diamonds you already have -- it's better for morale and there's no guarantee that the diamonds in the other mines are any better."
