"As a student worker at Liberty University, the job was fairly flexible and accommodating to my class schedule. However, the pay was on the lower side compared to other part-time jobs in the area. Overall, it was a good experience and a great opportunity to gain some work experience while still being able to focus on my studies."

"You can learn a lot from working there. Like any other job there are somethings that can be done differently. Micromanagement is something that should change. Just trust the employees especially the ones in leadership know what they are doing; that is what you hired them for. Still a really great place to work and great benefits and decent pay."

"Ultimately, Liberty University is not a recommended company to work for. The compensation is low and the way employees are treated is poorly. The management is not a leadership-style, as they are focused on numbers and have a mindset that employees are replaceable. If you are a student looking to get your education paid for, this is a great opportunity. However, if not, I would recommend looking into outside universities and companies."

"I am very sad to say that my time as an employee with this institution really wore away all of the pride and love that I once had for it as a student. I worked in multiple departments (Facilities and Liberty University Online Admissions) and had the same terrible experiences with both. The departments that I worked in were dictated with fear were leadership constantly reminded you that you were not valued and expendable. They would claim to carry Christian values, yet there was not action to show that they value their employees as a good Christian organization should. I was consistently shown that my scheduling, time off with family, and work was not important to the administration. I constantly felt constrained and suffocated with the heavy micromanagement that, I felt, distracted me from doing my job on a daily basis. Our management would oftentimes even go as far to say that "we are preparing you for the real world" as an excuse to treat us more poorly than I would suspect an institution with its values should. All-in-all, I would highly recommend avoiding this institution when looking for employment. I forced myself to work for them for nearly 6 years telling myself that I could push through being treated so badly just because I like the benefits, but in the end it was not worth it. The word of mouth locally is really beginning to spread about the things I shared above as well. Just steer clear, it's not worth it."

"This is a steadily growing school. The online program is a huge part of this university. Unfortunately the because this is a private school the pay is not standard for the position. It is almost half of the what other schools pay."

"This is an okay job. With pay that will get you by. But other places pay over 15,000 more for the same job you do."
