"I have worked at Liberty University since fall semester of 2019. My supervisors have always been supportive and respectful of each employee. They have set realistic goals for each employee, and would not hesitate to assist with getting tasks done if needed."
"I worked as a full time student. My job was to conduct a research paper on the transitional behavioral issues that veterans face after leaving full time service."
"I've worked for Liberty University's IT Department as a student worker and it honestly was a great place to start out as a person who is interested in IT. My co-workers were very nice and always helpful if you want to learn. Would recommend that job to start off your IT journey."
"Very good environment and campus"
"This is an okay job. With pay that will get you by. But other places pay over 15,000 more for the same job you do."
"Liberty University is a fantastic place to work, I've worked here for 3 years (2014) as a Data Analyst, I am treated great, and am surrounded by kind people, who take the creed of the University very seriously. If you intend to work in a Christian environment, and love computers, I highly suggest their Business Intelligence office, they have some of the hardest working and most intelligent people that I have ever met. I deeply regret having to leave here. Sadly I was denied for remote working."
"This is a steadily growing school. The online program is a huge part of this university. Unfortunately the because this is a private school the pay is not standard for the position. It is almost half of the what other schools pay."
"Working at Liberty University was a stepping stone in my professional career. It enabled me to build skills that can apply to future positions. I am grateful for the opportunity that I've had, but look forward to expanding my experience in a new field."
"It is a good place for people who like small work environments and closely associated work place."
"As a student worker at Liberty University, the job was fairly flexible and accommodating to my class schedule. However, the pay was on the lower side compared to other part-time jobs in the area. Overall, it was a good experience and a great opportunity to gain some work experience while still being able to focus on my studies."
"You can learn a lot from working there. Like any other job there are somethings that can be done differently. Micromanagement is something that should change. Just trust the employees especially the ones in leadership know what they are doing; that is what you hired them for. Still a really great place to work and great benefits and decent pay."
"I've worked for Liberty University the past two years, working under more experienced CAD designers. This was a great experience, as I was able to work this position full time during summers, and during the school years as a student. This position taught me how to use AutoCAD and problem solving skills to design small to large scale renovation drawings. This position also taught me how to handle and understand technical documents and construction drawing."
"Ultimately, Liberty University is not a recommended company to work for. The compensation is low and the way employees are treated is poorly. The management is not a leadership-style, as they are focused on numbers and have a mindset that employees are replaceable. If you are a student looking to get your education paid for, this is a great opportunity. However, if not, I would recommend looking into outside universities and companies."
