"I would just make sure you have an understanding that you are going to be driving over an hour to every meeting with no gas money provided and you are paid commission only"

"The hardest part about this position is how I was paid. Commission only was not for me and there was no gas or food money provided by the company"

"I would suggest targeting the Triangle as opposed to areas that are over an hour away"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask hard questions, and don't let the interviewer off the hook. Ask about compensation, ask about benefits, ask about turnover, and make the interviewer look you in the eye. Beware of the interviewer who is late or who takes phone calls in the middle of your interview."

What don't you like about working at Liberty National Life Insurance Co.?

"Too much change in structure. Commission only, with a market base that is already saturated with major players, such as AFLAC. Current economics make it difficult to prosper as well."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Work with the agents one-on-one more, and hold fewer motivational meetings. Concentrate more on developing the agents you have and less time trying to recruit more agents."
