"It was my first job, any my only Firmware Engineering position, so I suppose I don't have much to compare it with. However, I felt that it was a pretty good place to work overall.Cons:- Pay did not seem that competitive- Quality of employees seemed to reflect lower pay- Did not feel like many of my colleagues were particularly gifted- Lots of attrition recently Pros:- Probably easier than average to get a job here- Lexington is fairly small, but quite nice"

What don't you like about working at Lexmark International?
"HR and the blatant misuses of contractors; meaning into year-to-year positions that last over a decade with critical knowledge and responsibilities yet no benefits and atrocious pay. In addition, attempting to transition to an FTR is nearly impossible due to prohibitive HR policies."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Regularize contractors who you believe are valuable. Do not allow HR to drive hiring decisions. Stop using the term diversity candidate and taking that into consideration when hiring,"
