"Worked here for 3 years, the amazing company as in the people who I worked with, they accommodate and welcome you into their family. However, it currently lacks direction and a way for growth, it feels stagnant but I have alot of hope that the amazing people working there will find a solution."
"I've worked at Lexmark for 10 years and feel it a great company, with great people. Lexmark provides flexibility and opportunities to connect with peers and grow professionally, all while maintaining delivery of great products and solutions."
"I have worked for Lexmark for over 18 years, not counting my Academic Year Part Time (AYPT) work in college. The people at Lexmark are what make the company great. Unfortunately the market has taken a down turn since 2018 and this has had an impact on Lexmark, both to the culture and direction of the company. It is still a great company to work for, but I think Lexmark is still looking for a new company identity."
"I like working in Lexmark, but currently they are not offering a full-time position in what I do."
"Nice company and environment. Flexible working time."
"I have been working for Lexmark since 2010, and It is a company in a very difficult marketing that must do big changes to survive. The CEO has a good vision about the changes needed, but the implementation is poor. He must pursue the culture change and hire more experienced people to help him implement his strategies."
"Lexmark is a good company if you are looking to move into software development. The motto at one point was fast followers, which bothers me. They are shifting focus from hardware development to software development. They pay really well for the work and stress level, but there is a lot of this is how you are supposed to do things."
"I find that Lexmark provides for a low stress work environment compared to many large tech companies. There are many valuable resources in terms of engineering knowledge. I enjoyed each term that I co-oped at the company."
"CEO said to the press I didnt see this coming, that is why he should be going."
What do you like about working at Lexmark International?
"The money and the people (not Mgt.)"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Lexmark is a very click-ish place to work and filled with toxic leadership. Most 1st line managers are poor with people and have been rewarded the position due to pay band system (you will find the same in 2nd and 3rd lines as well). Mgt. as a whole does not really understand the printing marketing and for that matter on how to go to market. Mgt. has little to no vision on the market. HR is poor, they have no understanding on how fix the toxic leaders (Hence, the outsourcing of HR) and often their hands are tied due to the leadership. Most employees are overworked and have had to pick up the extra work that was once done by their laid off peers (that s right plural often more than 2 more like 5 or 6).Dont plan to stay long at Lexmark, I expect them to go out of business!"
What don't you like about working at Lexmark International?
"Senior Mgt. is arrogant and out of touch of what really happens in the workplace and with customers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Replace every Executive that came from Engineering (that is not in Engineering). Remove all the top Executives (other people are fired / laid off for better performance than how the current Executive / Senior Mgt. team has been performing for the last 5 years). For the specific business areas, get an appropriate leader (ie. CEO should be a Marketing / Sales guy). Stop the off-shoring!"
