"I accepted a 6 month contract with DRS believing I would be offered a direct position after successfully completing the contract period. I worked on a proposal team competing for new government contracts. The awarding of the contract dragged on and my contract period ended without knowing how much of the new work we might get. With nothing to do but wait DRS chose to not make me an offer or renew my contract. The company was great. I liked everyone I worked with and I was really hoping for the chance to work there for a long time."
