"Great company to work for, you can move upward based in your results. There is great mobility, with the right credentials you can work as an expatriate. You can develop systems in Lear. I used to think of Lear as a second rate company, but it has evolved to became one of the main players as automotive supplier."
"Great work environment, however opportunities to grow are very limited."
"Overall a good employer providing a fair wage for a fair day's work. Good points were Lear's generosity with paid time off and their matching 401K program. The downside was their refusal to allow my wife to participate in their group medical insurance plan. Lear's excuse? We have a private certificate of domestic partnership as opposed to their required public marriage certificate. Though illegal to discriminate between the two under state laws, Lear claimed exemption by virtue of a federal ERISA program and not having any federal contracts."
"Brand New Facility, Committed Management, Strong Plant Manager, Good Employee Culture. Great overall work experience."
"Good company, good money and good benefits. This location has been on 6 day work weeks for several years, sometimes 7. It's steady work for your entire shift. People are ok, supervisors are descent, not much communication from upper management. Work is not too hard."
"I have worked at Lear for almost 2 years. The company is a great place to work. The atmosphere is really unique, the company is a fortune 150 business, but manages to keep a small town business feel."
"Great place to work. Expectations to complete your work is fair and clear, but opportunities to move is seemingly limited and difficult."
"I have worked for Automotive suppliers and has a 6+ years of Quality experienced working at multi manufacturing facilities. I have a proven record of implementing continuous improvement projects, cost savings ideas, process improvement activities, conducting product safety audits, 5S implementation and other quality, process and industrial engineer related responsibilities. Experienced working in Automotive, Electrical and Manufacturing industries."
"Lots of pressure, no good work conditions, excess of work and no resources."
