Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"After Having an Excellent Supervisor for 8 years I was assigned a Supervisor was just delegating his duties down the line."

"Don't just accept the answer that the user wants more testing without a required signoff, set a guide at that point for every change done to meet their goals to show if it is just resistance to change."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"You will rise or fall on your own shoulders when making games for WT. Be ready for the responsibility. Also remember that your game will be compared with the best that's ever been done at WT, so don't be surprised if you get constructive criticism from the brass."

What don't you like about working at WildTangent?

"A company as large as WT and with the one dev + one artist team structure really lends itself to working with remote teams, but WT management didn't even consider this idea when I needed to move away from WA."

"HomeAdvisor started inside Microsoft. Great Management, Great Team. Partnering with Banks & Lending institutions went off great. Freddie & Fannie were willing to play as well. The Business team unfortunately killed this wonderful project."

What do you like about working at HomeAdvisor?

"Our GM was a fantastic Person. One in a Million. Our CTO was a fantastic Person one in a million. A Dream Team. The Team they put together was a dream team. What suggestions do you have for management?

"In retrospect - I would submit to the GM - a man I honor - that You did know that Business group were a barrel of rotten eggs. I honestly think that in weighing the larger interests of the phenomenal success your team were delivering you would have delivered greater value by creating an alternate business team, by sacking them, by calling them out, by escalating their performance to the VP .. anything at all but letting them run with what they did .. and run the effort to the ground. Its precisely like Google today - if they do not monetize on a very successful basis - they are just a foot note in history."
