What do you like about working at Le Creuset?

"I liked the product - high end French cast iron cookware and French cutlery. I liked selling to our customers and making lifetime clients. It was important to me that we were able to connect with our clients so well that they recommended us to their friends - and sometimes brought them along on their next visit."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Know that you should be able to take care of your own benefits if you live on the west coast. The benefits they offer are hard to access on the west coast. It takes a lot to find even a doctor who takes their insurance."

What don't you like about working at Le Creuset?

"The regional manager was set on putting his manager mindset into every store. He was focused on getting rid of me even though I was the top selling store manager in the region, had the highest cutlery sales in the company and the most improved average sales in the company. I didn't fit his vision of a Le Creuset store manager."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Look at the results of each store's sales before rushing to stand behind a regional that has his own best interests at heart."
