"Super laid back office. I managed to work my way into writing for editorial. Editorial is the best department in the entire company."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It's a lot of work, Editorial and Advertising are two separate worlds. If you're applying for an advertising position in hopes of getting into editorial, it will never happen. They frown upon switch overs."

What don't you like about working at LA Weekly?

"I'd rather not go there. It's all subjective. Not enough growth opportunity."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more involved with your employees and what they are doing."
