"field patrol was my favorite thing to do because it involved using my people skills in many different capacities, which I was good at."

"I hated the in house politics. A lot of favoritism shown to suck ups."

"The sheriff's department was in the process of a court ordered change intended to change the good old boy system of awarding promotional jobs. My suggestion to management would be to continue in the direction ordered by the court."

"Exposure to all types of equipments and people. Its a good training place for beginners."

"Change the culture and management style. Technical managers should have technical background."

"No upward mobility. The current system of procurement takes too long and that hinders the output."

"Talent based promotion. Often times, people are promoted based on whom they know rather than what they know."
