"The best government organization that one can work for in all of Vegas. There is a refreshing level of stability both in the work that one does, and in the prospects of the organization itself. That being said it is not a company that is afraid to modernize, and there has been much effort to ensure it stays competitive both for its customers and employees."

"I loved working at the Las Vegas Valley Water District. Great people work here to achieve a mission that makes a difference, especially in the times we live in. High quality water helps everyone. I have faith that the people who work here do an excellent job as water stewards for the general public."

"LVVWD/SNWA is a fantastic place to work. Most of the people there are awesome and great at what they do. The work an be very rewarding at times. You are technically working for a municipal water utility company and it is quite large. However, I was from I.T. and it was very fast paced and fun."

"A good place to work. The water district is a government job so experience and expertise are secondary to seniority, as such you could be subject to the LIFO rules if a layoff is invoked, otherwise it is a great place to work."
