Working at Lanier Parking Solutions in Kansas City, MO: 1 Employee Reviews

Valet Manager

"Growing Company, Lots of Physical Activity and Management Challenges"

What do you like about working at Lanier Parking Solutions?

"Had the opportunity to really workout my Cardio system!"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Talk to the people on the ground running the operation. They can tell you what to expect on a day-to-day basis!"

What don't you like about working at Lanier Parking Solutions?

"The entire operation was ill-researched and poorly managed from both the Company (Lanier) Level as well as the contracting company's level (Cordish Company). The demands of management were often too ambitious to support what could be feasibly accomplished. (For example, when 20,000 people are exiting a major venue...it's safe to assume that delivering a client's care will take less that 3 minutes when the vehicle is parked 5 blocks away on the 2nd level of a parking garage). However, like all challenges, we managed to accomplish our goals with little push-back from our clients."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Develop a plan, work your plan, and adjust accordingly to the challenges you face on a day-to-day, week-to-week, and month-to-month basis. What may seem like an out-of-control problem now, may in fact only be a small hurdle. Don't rush a temporary solution when a better solution can be found by spending the little extra time to think about the long term impacts."
