"People are easy to get along with. Most are genuinely nice people."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't even bother interviewing with Lakeshore. You won't last long here. Most people I talk to here are scared they are getting fired next. I am scared and I am looking forward to the economy picking up so I can get out of here."

What don't you like about working at Lakeshore Learning Materials?

"Lakeshore does not value its employees or the ideas they offer. The turn over here is insane. People are fired for little or no reason."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To the VPs and Directors: if you hire people for their fresh perspective, you should listen to those ideas. And never fire those people for trying to make Lakeshore better. To the CEO: the VPs and Directors you have working for you need to go to business school and learn how to manage a business. Hopefully they will also learn how to manage people."

What do you like about working at Lakeshore Learning Materials?

"The things you do here are somewhat rewarding. The group of people and interaction with different departments is great. People work hard,"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't question management or your gone. You gotta go with the flow, regardless if it's such a dumb idea. These so called mangers and directors have no idea what they are doing. Their answer to everything, let's ask Pam."

What don't you like about working at Lakeshore Learning Materials?

"Where do I start. Management really has no clue, you have a bunch of brown nosers that can't think for themselves and will throw you under the boss if your not on board in their game. You seriously have unqualified people managing a QA department and a purchasing department who use to work in the warehouse. You have the vp of his daddy's company who thinks he knows it all. This other so called vp who talks all this fluff about the employees being so important and doing this and that. Dude is like a used car salesman and sexual pig around the office with all the girls.makes lays has late nights if you know what I mean. Them you have their followers in management position who try to use big words they don't understand. This company treats their vendors like craps and constantly lies about everything"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"This company really needs an overhaul. There are talented people there that need to be moved up, but in the end, they'll fall in to the lakeshore culture because we want to keep our jobs. They even come up and tell you your either good or your gone"
