"I like the people that I work with and the research that we do is groundbreaking and potentially life saving for the patients."

"Be careful who your boss may be because that really makes a difference in the close quarters of a lab."
What don't you like about working at University of Southern California?
"I do not like my boss. She is forgetful, changes her mind on a daily basis, rushes things, and is generally not a nice person."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"It would be nice to have notice for upcoming experiments, and not to be given a timeline where rushing could affect important results. Also the pay is very poor for the amount of work and expectations."

"I enjoyed collecting and analyzing data, as well as working with instrumentation and computers."

"Unless you enjoy being micromanaged, and being ignored, find a different place to work."

"Being micromanaged, no opportunity for advancement, and having no recourse when being blamed for something that was not my fault."

"Look at how busy the employees are compared to how much they are paid. Notice how much management interacts with employees in their departments."

"Management takes forever to get things done and there is little opportunity for advancement. When things are broken they take forever to get fixed. New rules are implemented that are redundant."

"Encourage advancement for all employees and reward hard workers when they should be rewarded."

"Be very careful of Aurora's HR department - You can have a legitimate complaint, but they always back their supervisors."

"Micromanagement and a lack of trusting employees as professionals. Poor communication on departmental changes that really matter. The pay scale is poor / you never hit the middle of your pay scale with very small raises."
