"The technology to work with at KVH is close to cutting edge electronics design and mechanical packaging. Sadly, management techniques are far from enlightened and modern and seem more appropriate to 1930's assembly line style. Project schedules have been referred to as "banging the drum" as in you are a galley slave. Deadlines are unrealistic and cannot be achieved on EVERY project. There is very little teamwork and a lot of adversarial finger pointing as to why things don't happen fast enough."
