"Electronics group is a small department within a large company which frequently create problems for the electronics group to design thier components withing the mechanical constraints."

"Listen to what the job actually is, because often times it's not what you end up doing. Kohler is a revolving door and is great for someone just out of college. It is not for someone with experience because Kohler reacts on numbers and is not afraid to do away with people, jobs, etc, when the position often times is posted a year later. Someone with experience knows better and will become fraustrated. But your best foot where it is appreciated, this typically is not it."

"Getting someone to actually do something about the opportunity"

"Take principals in quality and problem solving and actually use them instead of listing them as something that's been done in the past."

"Not being able to take vacation or being a temp employee."

"None, my previous supervisor was super nice and understanding."

"Gave me the opportunity to manage and develop many departments that are not usually part of a Maint. Managers job. I was able to configure many aspects of the operation here."

"Be prepaired to accept a large dose of additional responsibility."

"They are a little light on experience and knowledge at the Plant manager and above level."

"Continue to go outside the company to acquire world class telent for a few more years until knowledge is disseminated."

"More breaks, In a 12 hour shift you were given 2 breaks and 1 lunch break. The conditions were 110-120 degrees at all times and could get exhausting"

"If you get hired, get it in writing, what you were promised, they promise a lot but refuse to put it in writing, there is a reason they do that."

"The 120 mile commute.The performance evaluation process was not real. Performance reviews were based on incomplete data."

"Recognize the personal value that is provided by employees and not focus on JUST metrics."
