"The day I left the company due to it a company that treats its sales people poorly."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Go in looking at it as a stepping stone job.It is not a company you want to stay with.Salary way below industry average, you will work long hours more computer reports than selling.They don't worry about sales they worry about what you put into the CRM. Run from this company unless you need a job. I know out of my class maybe one guy is left. Turnover his extremely high for sales representatives. Is it the sales representatives for management."

What don't you like about working at Klingspor Abrasives?

"1. Computer work 2. Paying for company car with gps in it3. So called protect territory only when they want it to be. I sold stuff in my area that due to computer glitch went to other sales people4. National salesmanager only worries about computer numbers not reality and customers see this. Alot of customers do not want to deal with klingspor5. Pay horriable6. Next step up regional manager pays $33,000 wow not worth it7. I made $7,000 over my goal last month and still got thrown to the curb due to I questioned them when someone sold something in my territory which is supose to be protected. Don't ask questions or the National Sales Manager who not from the industry will fire you. Maybe he needs to go due to turnover very high for our industry. I think only person left out of my training class.Oh, yeah you don't get a true vacation time I was actually working taking orders on my vacation time which they charged me back that when I was fired. Its a company that does not care about people. Product ok not as good as 3M they just get you to believe it. Quality control at the mexico converter plant was average to below average. Lost a few accounts due to bad quality control."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"1. Bring quality of the products up that are converted at the plant in Mexico2. Fire National Sales Manager and get a Sales Manager that more worried about sales than computer reporting that is from the industry."
