What do you like about working at King's Seafood?

"I liked the environment that King's created for its Guests and Crew. The expectation that I was on the floor with Guests instead of being confined to office. I liked the freedom of having full control over the day to day operations allowing me to try new things to either bring in new Guests or increase profitability."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be honest with what you want and expect. This is still a great company to work for but remember actions speak louder than words. Talk with other managers in the position you are applying."

What don't you like about working at King's Seafood?

"Over the last five years King's has gone from the company that believed in explaining the Why behind every descision to have the buy in from all crew to a do as I say not as I do attitude. This resulted in lack of communication and distrust of General Managers and a walking on eggshell mentality."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Open communication is the key to any company in the Hospitality Business. Having a open door policy and not holding information against you to be used at a later date. Honesty and Loyalty needs to be rewarded and not targeted."
