Accounting Administrator

"This is a terrible company to work for unless you are one of the child care providers. They are the only ones that have it good. The office workers are all overworked and underpaid. You are not able to take any of your breaks, and taking a lunch is a miracle. They will hire you as a permanent position then change their mind 2 weeks later without giving you a chance to prove yourself. There is very little training provided. yet you are supposed to be an expert without knowing their policies and procedures. They promise you a lot of hours during the interview, but then once you start working, they limited the amount of hours you can work. They are also breaking the law by not providing all employees with the California state sick leave requirement. Every employee is supposed to get one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked. They are not following the law and only giving full time employees time off. They should be giving everyone sick time as the law requires. Their accounting firm does not know the law well enough as well and told them doing this is okay. The accounting firm is a joke as well. He bills them for a ton of hours yet is constantly on the phone and not even working. The owner and Operations Manager are so clueless that he has them wrapped around his finger and can charge them whatever he wants. I cannot stress enough what a bad company this is hiding behind the premise of taking care of children. It is the worst experience of my life having worked there for a brief time. If you get a job here, contact an attorney and have them on standby. For all the laws they are breaking and the inevitable wrongful termination. Pros None Cons The management has terrible communication and the owner is never there, Her sons are on the payroll and they don't even work there, No support from management, Little training provided, No job security, Not enough hours, Breaking the law, Weak Operations Manager that has low amounts of knowledge."
