"Things have improved a bit after the pandemic. Upper people are realizing the importance of staff."

"I am so disappointed with the treatment of employees in one of our restaurants, the bosses there don't care about the wellbeing of their employees but about making money. They don't talk to them fairly or care how they feel. All they want is for them to pretend as if they are happy and continue working. Honestly guys how do you expect someone to perform if they are unhappy. These bosses or managers or supervisor are also hired why they act as if they have shares. When an employee is sick they must come to work, when an employee has family crisis must come to work, when an employee is attacked or mugged they must come to work, is money more important than life?? No we need to care as Human beings, be sympathetic, may our bosses act like parents and care please."

"Worked at KFC between November 2018 - April 2019 and hated it. Hours were way too high for my age based on the fact I had college - constantly called in extra and working above scheduled hours. Understaffed which made shifts difficult - only 7 managers and 15 part time employees. Some staff were OK to work with but others were really horrible people. Management was rude and didn't care at all. They'd wait until the dining area was a mess with bins more than just overflowing and then expect me to go out and make it spotless within 5 minutes before coming back to till. Customers were horrible too."

"Their culture is led by intimidation and bullying and they expect you to do the same to the team members. Great food but the leaders are their own barrier to running a great place to eat and work."

"I have a good relationship with my one manager. My GM on the other hand is rude, and also has double standards with the employees, talks about other works, personal problems at work. I am sorry, that is unprofessional and highly disrespectful. Some of the employees do what ever they damn well please, and do not get in trouble."

"If you are in IT, definitely avoid KFC. Yum lays off a significant portion of their workforce every couple years. Other employees purposely do not document any application, system, or database, thinking it protects their job security. This means you are on your own in an IT environment purposely crafted against you. They use proprietary restaurant equipment, whose knowledge is non-transferable (useless) when you leave. They generally had little web knowledge, 2 decades behind."

"It is a good company to work for, but there is too much family in this one store. It makes a lot of situations very uncomfortable."
