"Building for the military is a great feeling, and to see the soldiers smile when we were done was the best. I did it for them; the money was secondary."

"Do not bother if you're scared to go into the worst areas of downtown L.A. because you won't last in the war zone."

What don't you like about working at KBR?

"They suck. The upper management had no clue as to what they were doing, and they did not care if the soldiers were happy. They also did not have a firm grip on what it takes to do construction, nor did they listen to those who did."

"Hire some people who know what they are doing and know how to get things done."
