What do you like about working at Karen Carson Creations?

"In 1987 is was important for me to be able to spend more time with my young children, and I wanted to participate more in their activities. Although the company was in Dayton, I worked from a home office, so I greeted my children as soon as they got off of the school bus. I enjoyed learning a new field (design) and went back to college too learn how to use the MAC (industry standard) in order to work better with the vendors who printed our packaging. Packaging is sales without a person making the presentation, so I was able to improve business."

What don't you like about working at Karen Carson Creations?

"Eventually, my children went to college, left home & married. The job has become quite lonely. To counter that, I became involved in the community as an organizer & fundraiser (raising money is selling).It's no easy working for a husband with a partner."
