"How would I describe JumpCloud. It's a startup where the motto is "1% better every day." Meaning you are slaved out like most startups, with little to no training, unqualified management (micromanagement at its finest), untested processes, favoritism, and egotistical employees that believe doing everything without question is how you do not get fired. Let's start with "no training." It's an environment where testing of the product is non-existence and falls on the shoulders of Support. So, you will be continuously doing the job of another department, writing their documentation, and my favorite apologizing for their mistakes. "Training" is a timed vomit from another department and your ability to go seek answers for yourself! There's so much micromanagement going on throughout the company you don't need to do any thinking (just be the experiment monkey trying to get the banana).  Management's lack of emotional intelligence and people skills throughout the company is appalling. Maybe investing course for these individuals to provide "world-class customer service to your employees might be a start!" What do managers do at JumpCloud, especially within Support? They are micromanagers or roadblocks that slow everything down and don't actually have the skills to grow people. However, they do have the skills to carbon copying management process from the internet to implement. (Good job knowing how to Google) But they don't care about growing people at JumpCloud (it's a place meant for a certain dynamic of individuals)-- just squeezing all the work out of employees before discarding them. Instead of blaming employees for low performance, consider the environment that upper managers have set. There are NO tools in place to help employees succeed.  That leads me to their "world-class customer service." This is only directed to their customers but for their staff.
