"I worked for Julios Mexican Restaurant for 11 months. There I enjoyed of a flexible schedule while I attended school to receive my bachelors. I held the position of waitressing and soon as I rapidly became familiar with the environment and menu, I was promoted to trainer as well. Already having experience from several years in the restaurant industry, I was able to enhance my skills. I became a great listener, focused to attention, a team player and a leader at times. I learned to multitask and practiced problem solving as well. I don't consider my former position a professional job, but I would recommend it for someone who is just beginning and wants to learn the feel about customer service, stress handling and working in a fast paced environment. If you and the company match, the opportunities of growth are also present."
