What don't you like about working at Job Corps?

"Management that never worked with the kids telling me I needed to give the students another chance after they tried to fight the staff and curse at them. I worked in the Recreation Department and when kids would scream, cuss and try to fight that staff we would kick them out. Then the same students would complain to some one else and they would be right back in the facility the same week. The staff need the support form upper management to change the way the students treat other people. They will have the same attitude if we just give in every time. Students need to be responsible for their actions."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to the staff that work with the kids every day, make people accountable for their actions. Don't say it's ok this time and let then back into the facility. That puts staff in jeopardy and the students will not listen to them the next time. The students will just think I got away with it one time I can do it again."
