"Be aware that if you are interviewing, if they are hiring you to hit the top 5 hiring firm or not. If they are, then you are gone within 6 months."

"The coporation is very self centered and type A. Company has NO loyalty to enployee."

"Loyalty. Honesty and fairness."

"The attitude of the company stating not to work overtime, but didn't want you coming in at 8:00 and leaving at 5:00, wanted you to work 2 extra hours off the clock"

"They have to take away the office politics that was brewing with the company when I left."

"Great location downtown and a nice work environment."

"Be sure to meet with employees as well to get their impressions."

"They expand and contract frequently, lots of young employees with out the backbone of senior architects to back them up."

"Be more open and communicative with those you manage on a regular basis."

"Not the best place for licensed professionals who want career advancement."
What do you like about working at Disneyland?
"The perks are nice if you have a family. I don't, so it didn't make much of a difference for me."
What don't you like about working at Disneyland?
"The department that I was in was managed primarily by accountants, who had little to no experience in engineering and overlooked the legal obligations that licensed engineers have to state regulatory agencies."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Licensed engineers have an obligation that goes beyond the interest of the Disneyland Resort."

"They had a progressive attitude and added an entire building management division, but could not manage it at all with their other civil engineering branches."

"They let us have cool toys and we found many ways to speed up our work."

"They no longer have architectural so it does not matter."

"They really only cared about the civil engineers."

"If you are going to branch out, commit to it."

"It can be a good starter for you employment, but do not expect much. I am not sure you'll have a future there."

"Work load is not staple, and you dou do NOT have a sense of job security."

"There are no opportunities for advancement. This was a very small company."

"Lots, but I strongly don't think the owners care about my suggestions."

"I like the responsibilities, managing every single detail with the designer and consultant engineers, it was really enjoyable bumping into different types of issues. I needed to find the answers through sketches, mathematical solutions, and renderings, that's exactly what I studied for. I love it!"

"Prepare yourself for the interview, be honest, and if you are the right fit, they will hire you."
What don't you like about working at Huntsman Cancer Institute?
"Not being part of the big picture, I would it liked to be involve more with the client, tenant and other decision makers. I was stuck to the office SC, DD, CD work only, I wanted more responsibilities."

"Let your team get more involve, let them learn and practice directly with the upper management. Let them be the best a what they do."
