"I worked at Jimmy John's from August 2013-January 2014 when I was going to school at the same time at West Virginia University. When I worked there, I learned how to work with other people and how to communicate with different types of customers. I also learned how to go the extra mile when working with customers."

"Well, what to say... the corporate higher ups, anybody above the store level, were inept disinterested folks who pushed the store managers to jump through hoops. But that fostered a camaraderie among the store-level employees and managers to give area manager no reason to throw a tantrum. Overall it was an excellent environment caused by an awful corporate structure."

"There are some unpleasant jobs like cleaning out the bathrooms, and there are some demanding customers; sometimes it is very difficult to understand the orders placed on the phone."

"I mean it was a great starting job, it just depends on the management"

"It was disorganized in a lot of ways. It was poorly run with weak managers. Leadership wasnt good and training was poor."

"I think I would make the little things matter more, and stop focusing on if our socks match our shoes or not."
