"This is a good job of your starting your career as a mechanic. Like for a high school student or just graduated. Or even if your just getting into this field. They have lots of training opportunities. But I would not stay here long. It has a high turnover in this area. Not only in lube techs and csa but also management. I’ve been here a little over a year and have had 4 GSOs. For a couple weeks you are staffed and the next your running two ways for 3 months. Every store manger has different rules and expectations. Some will let certain people or anybody get away with anything while others go way to far to practically bulling certain people or anybody."

"this company has no respect for dedicated employees, use them then lose them as needed"

What do you like about working at Jiffy Lube?

"they were a good company to work for at one time. People were on a first name basis with upper management and there was actually some consideration for the needs of the employees."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"try interviewing all of the middle management people that lost their jobs the JLI decided to divest themselves of their comany operated stores. They have plenty to tell..."

What don't you like about working at Jiffy Lube?

"The fact that since Shell took over, employee and store management morale plummeted. Upper management had no consideration for employees and used them and discarded them as needed. They made promises when the stores were being sold to franchisees and had no intention of keeping them."

"notlhing, I have total disdain for them and have nothing to say to them."
